SOCIETY OF TRAUMA INTENSIVE CARE

AIMS OF THE SOCIETY

1. To promote and advance the knowledge in intensive care with special reference to Trauma patients. It also envisages promotion and improvement in management of critically ill trauma patients through the practice, research and education.

2. The subject of trauma intensive care requires multidisciplinary approach and involves active participation by specialists of various disciplines such as Anesthesiologists, trauma surgeon, neurosurgeon, orthopedic surgeon, cardiac surgeon, thoracic surgeons and intensivists. Therefore, it will function to bring together specialists from various disciplines under one roof with a common goal of proper management of trauma patients.

3. To advance research in traumatology and trauma intensive care.
